What is an As-built Survey?

An as-built survey is a record of the location of the improvements as they are built during construction. The final location of the construction improvements such as installation of sewer pipes, buildings, utilities and the pavement can be different than the original design location.

 

Why do we need an As-built Survey?

This survey is needed when a new public drainage system has been installed or extended, along with detailed plans and digital information that is needed for the Council.
