Height to Boundary Survey
What is a Height to Boundary Survey?
A height to boundary survey ensures that all buildings are positioned correctly. The height of a building in relation to its boundary is measured vertically from ground level (height varies between zones). From that point, it is measured inwards at an incline of 45 degrees, thus creating an invisible envelope that the building must be contained in.

Why do we need a Height to Boundary Survey?
Height to boundary surveys ensure the proposed building is within the height in relation to its boundary (HIRB) limits. An early HIRB check by a licensed cadastral surveyor could find mistakes as early as possible and reduce risk and cost of construction.
What is our process?
